King's Mile
28. July 2008The King's Mile is the stretch of road between Killearn and Balfron. It has become known as the King's Mile because King Edward VII was particularly fond of the beautiful scenery of the area and especially the views enjoyed from this road.
Pots of Gartness
28. July 2008The Pots of Gartness is a series of rocky pools on the Endrick Water to the west of Killearn, near to Gartness. It's a great place to watch salmon on their way up river to spawn.
