If anyone is planning a trip to Killearn or even just looking for some nice pub grub i recommend you head to the old mill! The food is to die for, the entertainment is great fun, and the staff are just great friendly local people!
We ended up going one random Saturday night for an early dinner, the atmosphere from the bar area sounded great and me and my husband decided to take our drinks through after our meal, the kareoke was on and we ended up staying the whole night!! It was a fantastic night, the people were so friendly it was asif we had known them for years. the bar staff treat you with great respect and we couldnt have asked for better service.
Well done to all the staff there and the management should be very grateful to have staff like that.as they say good staff is hard to come by!!
Thanks again

We are seriously considering buying a property in Killearn. However we are not that familiar with the village so would greatly appreciate some local knowledge. We know that it is a great place to live but are there perhaps some areas which are less desirable than others? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

hi there, my mums family were from killearn, she was born in 1944 and stayed there until the mid 70's. Her name was Elizabeth (Betty) Simpson, daughter of Jimmy and florence simpson. Just wondered if anyone remembered her or my grandparents?! My mum worked in murreys ( and before that chrissies post office) would be great to hear from anyone who remembers her!
Thanks!
